Foreign correspondent training for young journalists to be held in Prague

Young journalists and students from around the world are invited to attend a foreign correspondent training in Prague from January 3 to 11, 2010. The early bird deadline is October 9.

Participants will receive a practical introduction to international reporting from experienced foreign correspondents from major news outlets including the BBC, the New York Times and the Associated Press. By the end of the course, participants will have written their own stories.

The reduced 'early bird' fee for applications received by October 9 is €955 (US$1,395). The full fee for later applications is €1,075 (US$1,595). Scholarships are available for participants from Central Asia and Eastern Europe.
